Since I do not get to develop or QA in my regular job duties, articles like this one from Maris Elsins are perfect eye-openers as they expand my horizons a bit so when I get into unusual situations I have more tools in my mental toolbox. Go read Maris' article about what he found when he encountered an issue where it really looked like it was a bug on his version of the Oracle DB, but after troubleshooting and analysis it really was not a bug at all.
This situation reminded me a lot of my recent posting about how XLA data builds up and affects the A/P module in ways that were totally not expected or encountered when we were testing R12!
